Serenity Ultrasound is a private ultrasound and blood testing clinic in Kingswinford, serving patients across the West Midlands. People arrive at the site worried, often late at night, and want reassurance and an appointment, not a brochure. We designed and built a website around fast reassurance: online booking, a symptoms hub and clear pricing for pregnancy, women’s health, men’s health and blood testing.
The brief
A private scanning clinic competes on speed and trust. Patients are self-referring, so the site has to do the job a GP would normally do: help them work out which scan or test they need, show that the clinic is properly regulated, and let them book without a phone call if they prefer.
Serenity offers a wide range of services, from early pregnancy and gender scans to pelvic, abdominal, DVT and MSK scans, plus blood tests and screening packages. The brief was to make that range easy to navigate without overwhelming someone who only knows their symptom, not the name of the scan.
What we did
We organised the website design into clear groups: pregnancy scans, women’s health, men’s health, MSK scans, blood tests, packages and emergency scans. Each service has its own page with what the scan involves, who it is for and a from price, so a visitor can compare and decide without having to ring for a quote.
The symptoms hub is the piece that sets the site apart. Rather than expecting patients to know the right clinical term, it guides them from a symptom to a suggested scan or blood test. From there, online booking is one step away, with payment taken at the point of booking to confirm the appointment. Phone, email and WhatsApp sit alongside for people who would rather speak to someone.
Trust signals run through the site: CQC registration, HCPC-registered sonographers with NHS experience, free on-site parking, same-day, evening and weekend availability, and a Health Insights section with articles. Area pages cover the towns the clinic serves and an accessibility statement is included. The whole site is built to load quickly and work comfortably on a phone.
Why it works
The site meets patients where they are. Someone searching for an early pregnancy scan at midnight can find the right page, see the price, check that the clinic is regulated and book, all without waiting for opening hours. That removes the main reason a private patient goes elsewhere.
The structure also supports search visibility. Every scan, test and package has a dedicated page that answers a specific question, and the symptoms content captures the searches people make before they know what they need.
The result
Serenity Ultrasound now has a website that reassures and converts. It explains a wide range of scans and blood tests in plain language, shows pricing upfront, helps patients find the right service through the symptoms hub, and takes bookings and payment online around the clock, with the clinic’s regulatory credentials visible throughout.
Frequently asked questions
Do you build websites for other private clinics?
Yes. We work with private healthcare providers across the UK, including clinics, dental practices and specialist services, from our Birmingham and London bases.
Can a clinic website take bookings and payment online?
Yes. We can integrate online booking with payment at the point of booking, or link to the booking system you already use, so appointments are confirmed without a phone call.
Is it a good idea to show prices on a private healthcare site?
In our experience, yes. Patients comparing private clinics want to know the cost before they commit, and clear from prices reduce wasted enquiries and build trust.
Can the clinic update the site itself?
Yes. Prices, services, opening hours and articles can all be edited by the clinic team without needing a developer, and we are available for support.
Do you also handle SEO or Google Ads for clinics?
We do. We offer SEO and Google Ads on rolling monthly terms with no long contracts, and we are a Google Partner. A free audit is a good place to start.
