Who we are
This website, puremarketing.uk, is operated by Pure Marketing Services Ltd, trading as Pure Marketing (“we”, “us”, “our”). We are a company registered in England, company number 12369601, with our registered office at Lifford Hall, Lifford Lane, Kings Norton, Birmingham, West Midlands, B30 3JN. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), reference ZB366626.
For the purposes of UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) we are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us about anything in it at info@puremarketing.uk or on 0121 573 0233.
This policy covers our website and our dealings with people who enquire about or buy our services. It does not cover other websites we link to.
What information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, company, email address, phone number and anything you write in an enquiry, when you contact us, request an audit or proposal, or book a call.
- Booking details: if you book a call through our Calendly scheduler, Calendly collects your name, email and chosen time and passes them to us.
- Client information: if you become a client, we hold the contact, billing and project details needed to deliver and invoice our work.
- Technical information: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and how you arrived, collected through server logs and, where you agree, through cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).
How and why we use it
UK GDPR requires us to have a lawful basis for using your information. Ours are:
- To respond to your enquiry and take steps before a contract (contract): replying to messages, preparing audits and proposals, and arranging calls.
- To deliver and manage our services (contract and legal obligation): running client work, invoicing, and keeping the financial records the law requires.
- To keep in touch about our services (legitimate interests, or consent where the law requires it): follow-up emails to enquiries and occasional marketing to business contacts. You can opt out of marketing at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us.
- To understand and improve our website and advertising (consent): analytics and advertising cookies are only used if you accept them in our cookie banner.
- To keep our website secure and prevent fraud (legitimate interests).
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We only share personal information with organisations that help us run the business, and only what they need. These include our website hosting provider (20i), our email and CRM tools (including ActiveCampaign), Calendly for bookings, Google (Analytics, Tag Manager and Ads), Meta and LinkedIn for advertising measurement where you have consented, Termly for cookie consent, and our accountants and professional advisers. We may also disclose information where the law requires it. Some of these providers are based outside the UK, in which case we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for up to 24 months after our last contact with you unless you become a client. Client and financial records are kept for six years after the end of our relationship, as required for tax and accounting purposes. Analytics and advertising data is kept for the periods set by the relevant provider, normally no more than 26 months. After that we delete or anonymise it.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies. Necessary cookies are always on. Analytics and advertising cookies only run if you accept them, and you can change your choice at any time. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- be told how your information is used, and to access a copy of it;
- have inaccurate information corrected or completed;
- have your information erased in certain circumstances;
- restrict or object to our use of it, including for direct marketing;
- receive your information in a portable format where we use it under contract or consent;
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on it.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@puremarketing.uk. We will normally respond within one month, and we do not charge a fee unless a request is clearly unfounded or excessive.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Children
Our services are for businesses and are not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
