Porterbrook Dental is a long-established private dental practice in Sheffield specialising in implants and Invisalign, with an in-house restorative specialist. The practice wanted a website that felt as welcoming as walking through the door, while giving new patients and referring dentists a clear route to book. We designed and built a warm, well-structured site to do exactly that.
The brief
Dental websites often go one of two ways: cold and clinical, or so soft they say nothing. Porterbrook wanted neither. The practice combines genuine clinical expertise with a personal, family approach, and the site had to reflect both, reassuring a nervous new patient while showing an implant or Invisalign patient that they are in capable hands.
The practice also needed to serve two audiences at once: patients looking for treatment and dentists referring to its restorative specialist. The brief was a site that made both journeys simple without cluttering either.
What we did
We built the website design around a clear structure: About Us, The Team, New Patient, Treatments, a Specialist in Restorative section with its own referral form, Blog and Contact. Each treatment has its own page, covering dental implants, Invisalign, teeth whitening, composite bonding, general dentistry, hygiene and cosmetic dentistry, so a visitor researching one treatment finds focused, relevant content.
The New Patient page handles the practical questions someone has before registering, and a dedicated referral form gives dentists a professional, direct route to the restorative specialist without going through the patient-facing enquiry process.
Booking is straightforward. Online booking links through to the practice’s patient portal, and the phone number, email and an enquiry form sit alongside for anyone who prefers to speak to the team. Opening hours, the practice’s address and location details are easy to find, and the whole site is built to load quickly and work well on a phone.
Why it works
The site matches the practice’s character. The design is warm and personal, the photography and copy put people first, and the treatment pages give the clinical detail that higher-value patients want before they commit to implants or aligners.
Separating the referral route from the patient route keeps both clean. Patients are never confused by professional content, and referring dentists get a direct, efficient form. Individual treatment pages also give the site a sound base for search visibility on the treatments the practice wants to grow.
The result
Porterbrook Dental now has a website that presents a long-established Sheffield practice in a modern, welcoming way. It explains every treatment clearly, supports new patient registration and online booking, gives referring dentists their own route to the restorative specialist, and is easy for the practice to keep up to date.
Frequently asked questions
Do you work with other dental practices?
Yes. We design websites and run SEO and Google Ads for dental practices across the UK, from general family practices to specialist and cosmetic clinics.
Can the site link to our existing patient booking system?
Yes. We can integrate or link to the booking portal you already use, so patients can book online without the practice changing its systems.
How long does a dental website take to build?
A practice site with individual treatment pages typically takes a few weeks from brief to launch, depending on how much content and photography is ready. We agree a timeline with you upfront.
Can we add a referral form for other dentists?
Yes. We can build a separate professional referral route alongside the patient-facing site, with its own form and content.
Is the site easy for the practice to update?
Yes. Treatment information, team profiles, opening hours and blog posts can all be edited by the practice team, and we are on hand if you need help.
